• If finances are tight right now, this is the rate for you. Whether you’re navigating financial hardship, living on a fixed income, managing medical expenses, supporting family members, or simply need a lower-cost option to participate, we want you here.

  • This is the standard cost of a class and the rate we encourage folks to choose when it feels accessible. Choosing this option helps you support your instructor and contributes to the sustainability of the studio.

  • If you have a little extra financial flexibility, this option helps make movement more accessible for others in our community, your contribution helps us continue offering lower-cost options and creating a space where everyone can belong.

  • This option offers the most flexibility. You can contribute an amount that feels right for your circumstances, whether that’s less, more, or somewhere in between our suggested rates.

    You can also use this option to pay for multiple classes at once. We encourage you to reserve all of the classes that you’d like to attend for the week or month (etc.) first and then make a single contribution based on the classes you’ve booked. If you’re attending classes with multiple instructors, please submit contributions separately for each teacher so they receive direct support for their work.

Movement

The Underground Movement Studio is a values-driven movement and community workspace rooted in equity, accessibility, strength, and collective care.

We believe movement should be financially accessible to all. Most of our regular/ongoing classes are offered on the sliding scale to the right. This model is built on trust, mutual support, and the understanding that our financial realities are not all the same.

There is no application, proof of income, or explanation needed. We trust that you will choose the rate that feels sustainable for you while helping us continue to build an accessible and thriving movement community.

This model works because we show up for one another. If you can contribute at the Standard or Pay It Forward Level, you’re helping keep lower-cost options available. If you need the Community Rate or Movement Class Contribution option, we hope you’ll use it freely.
